CPAC Hosts Summit To Discuss Combating Narco-Terrorism

From the start of President Trump’s term, his administration has pursued a clear America First agenda. While border security has been a controversial issue, this event brought together security experts, leaders, and lawmakers to develop strategies to keep America safe.

Narco-terrorism and drug trafficking has destroyed many families across the country. Criminal organizations use narcotic revenues to carry out violent acts intended to influence governments, control territory, or advance ideological objectives. Narco-terrorism fuels the illegal drug trade, human smuggling and exploitation. For years Kensington Philadelphia has become an open air drug market. Many individuals openly use drugs on sidewalks, in parks, and around SEPTA train stations, contributing to public health concerns and community distress. Dirty needles are often left on the ground forcing young children to watch their every step. Disrupting these organizations weakens the supply chains that harm communities.

At its core, combating narco-terrorism is about protecting all communities, upholding justice, and preventing terrorists from gaining the power to shape policy, or control land.
