Long time Producer Pete Rock has had enough of this new hip hop music. He recently posted on social media stating "They should change the music to WTF". The funny thing is a few month ago I wrote a blog on this very topic and I wanted to know if we should still call it hip hop. I honestly feel hip hop has lost it's flavor. While Pete Rock explained his frustration he made it clear saying "We lost our integrity chasing the money". What Pete communicated was nothing short of simply wanting to keep Hip Hop at its golden stature without cheapening its value.
