Thursday was a beautiful evening overlooking the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia as we celebrated Philadelphia's City Commissioner Omar Sabir. Friends, family and supporters gathered to celebrate his birthday and raise funds for his campaign as he is hoping to get re-elected in November. In attendance was radio personality Patty Jackson, Musician Jeff Bradshaw, former City Council Member Jannie Blackwell and many more well known faces. Although it was a birthday party it was highlighted that Omar has done some tremendence things within the city. Many spoke highly of Omar and praised him for the work he has done as City Commissioner. While election day is less than 3 months away it is vital that registered voters hit the polls. Philadelphia is plagued with issues and change can only happen with your participation on November 7th.
