It was a sneaker studded night in Philadelphia as "Change Our Future Organization" hosted their 3rd Annual Sneaker Ball last night. The energy was high as party guests arrived in ball gowns and suits styled with fashionable brand name sneakers! The night was also filled with Ballers including former NBA star Rasheed Wallace to former Sacramento Kings player Jason Thompson, who were also joined by other pro athletes. Also in attendance was Philadelphia Eagles player Jordan Mailata who came to show his support while stating in an interview "I love giving back to the community". "Change Our Future" is known for their prestige work by giving back and investing into youth development. Last night's event was no different. A display of donated sneakers and school supplies greeted the guest upon entering the ball room. A silent auction and live entertainment took place as guests mingled and prepared to honor the Game Changer Honorees. Malcom Jenkins, Dr. David E. Thomas and Sheryl Lee Ralph along with a few others were honored for changing the lives of our young people and preparing them to have a successful future. "Change Our Future" provides programs for the youth and encourages more people to get involved to donate or provide services that are needed to ensure our young people are equipped with leadership skills and mentorship.
