The other Senate Democrats who voted against reopening the government are now furious that people will be able to continue their life as normal. SNAP benefits will be released, federal services will be fully restored and federal workers will be able to pay their bills. This is further proof that this was a "Democrat Shutdown". Their plan was to hinder working families and cause them to suffer while they continue receiving their paychecks. While some are claiming Senate Democrats caved, others say this was the best decision for the working poor.
