Gov. Gavin Newsom Gives The Ok To Tell On Yourself.

So this one is for the artist that likes to drop details on their criminal activities in a rap song. We all know the law is known for using rap lyrics as evidence in criminal trials but things have changed. For some that is. California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a bill to limit the use of hip hop lyrics as evidence against rappers who have been arrested. I wouldn't get too excited if I were you because the law has a ton of ways to bend the rules when convenient for them. Therefore, I would still watch my words if I were you. Although boasting about the crimes you've committed is never a good idea to begin with. Either way its good to know that you may or may not have your words used against you in the court of law. Good Luck!
