Jasmine Crockett Is Expected To Lose U.S. Congress Seat Due To Redistricting

U.S Representative Jasmine Crockett has been the hot topic for all the wrong reasons. Her disrespect towards President Trump and other elected officials such as Governor Greg Abbott has many turning their favor into disgust when Crockett's name is mentioned. After several rage bait social media videos criticizing President Trump, the heat is finally under Crockett's seat and she may be forced to get up. Republicans in the Texas Legislature introduced a new congressional map which has been approved by the The Texas House. The redrawing of the map will impact Texas's 30th congressional district which is represented by Jasmine Crockett. This will ultimately eliminate Crockett's seat as well as other elected Democrat seats. Removing those seats will open up 5 more Republican seats; allowing the GOP to maintain a Republican majority in the U.S Congress.

Crockett of course calls the redrawing of the map racist while others say it's illegal and cheating. It has been confirmed that it is not illegal; In fact both Democrat and Republican parties have always taken measures to sustain power. Republicans now have the advantage to make these changes and they will do what benefits their own party. However it is illegal to redraw congressional maps if it is racially motivated. Democrats are expected to challenge these changes in court.
