The fight against President Trump's plans to send illegal immigrants back to their country has caused a violent uproar in Los Angeles. Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and Governor Gavin Newsom have expressed their concerns on several news outlets. Governor Newsom says the illegals that ICE is deporting are hard working people and President Trump should allow them to live their lives. The protests in Los Angeles have become violent. Rioters are waving Mexican flags, burning police vehicles, terrorizing local business owners, looting, and have also been spotted burning the American Flag. Things got so bad President Trump deployed the National Guard to gain control over the chaotic scene. President Trump called out Newsom and Bass for not doing their job and even called for the arrest of Governor Newsom for condoning this horrific behavior. U.S citizens in Los Angeles have also joined the illegals, causing massive destruction on the highways and local streets.
Former Vice President Kamala Harris issued a statement in regards to the riots explaining she is appalled at what is happening and claims that the Trump Administration is about stoking fear. She also indicated that she stands with the rioters.
The Trump Administration is calling for more immigration enforcement. President Trump made a promise to the American people that he would deport illegals and secure our borders. Trump supporters say he is only doing what he promised and hopes that democrat leaders will allow him to do his job without interfering. This is what America voted for.
