State Rep. Jasmine Crockett Denied High Ranking Democrat Position

Due to the recent passing of Gerald E. Connolly, House Democrats were in need of replacing his position. Texas State Rep. Jasmine Crockett had high hopes of becoming the next High Ranking Democrat of the House Oversight Committee, but her goals did not go as planned. According to her fellow Congress members, Crockett’s  style of leadership is not how they wanted their party represented. Despite the education Ms. Crockett has acquired during her previous years, she can be loud, obnoxious and her use of profanity in professional settings can be disturbing at times. Critics have often called the State Rep “ghetto” because of her insulting mannerism. House Democrats have decided to elect Robert Garcia instead of Jasmine Crockett to represent the party. Jasmine Crockett has expressed that she feels the democratic party is too relaxed and needs to be more aggressive when it comes to fighting back against Trump's Administration policies. I assume she thinks they should burn the country down to make a bold statement.

The democrat party has been in shambles following the 2024 election when their candidate Kamala Harris lost to President Trump. The democratic party has lost several of their leaders who have decided to  become Independent while some registered as Republicans. Democrat supporters say they need new and younger leadership. Some claim the party has lost touch with the average American and their struggles. Some describe the democratic party as the party of the elites. The disconnect has yet to be figured out.
