The Supreme court ruled that parents have the right to opt their children out of LGBTQ themed lessons in public school classrooms. Parents have protested, advocated and expressed strong opinions to keep their children protected from the WOKE agenda. Things have gotten so out of control that this issue had to be taken to court. The force of the LGBTQ culture has taken over communities with rainbow colored streets, rainbow street signs, LGBTQ mural wall paintings and it eventually made its way inside of public schools.
A lawsuit took place in Maryland where parents of elementary students felt LGBTQ stories and topics violated their first amendment religious rights. After judges sided with the parents and ruled in their favor, President Trump called it “a tremendous victory for parents".
Although parents can opt out of these controversial lessons it does not mean LGBTQ related books will be removed from classrooms. Lessons will continue as normal. This court ruling will now give parents control over what their children are exposed to.
