I can't believe its come to this but if you was a soap opera watcher like me then you know how shocking this can be for some. First off since I was 6, I started watching soap opera's with my grandmother. Back in the early 90"s "All My Children" came on at 1pm which was my favorite, then it was "One Life To Live", then "General Hospital" came on at 3pm on ABC network. For years Sonny who's real name is Maurice Benard has been on General Hospital. He was always so Handsome with a dark sexy look that fans gravitated to. This man is Iconic in the soap world. I don't think any one else has the ability to replace his character on the show. The soap opera veteran recently stated that soon enough he will be done acting. You can catch him on his State Of Mind YouTube series where he brings awareness to mental health and speaks with other fellow soap stars about their personal struggles.
