Gosh, I hate to have to discuss this but it's necessary; And I think we are all curious. Is it true? Did Patrisse Cullors steal from us? Well at first I ignored these allegations. Thinking to myself people just want a story and this would be a good one. But let me tell you this particular story jus keeps popping up and there may be some truth to it. So word on the street is the Founder of "Black Lives Matter" allegedly has been using the donations from the organization to fund her lavish lifestyle and people are not happy about it. Listen we all heard it before. She is not the first and won't be the last to be accused of using donation money to splurge. Now whether this is true or not, I don't know. I have yet to hear what she has to say. Now the purpose of "Black Lives Matter" was to help put an end to white supremacy, fight for justice and empower the black community where needed. Now some people will use situations like this to benefit for their own personal needs. Whether its for cooking for the homeless, giving back to the community, or creating a"go fund me" accounts for various reasons. The list goes on. At the end of the day, we need to understand that 100% of donation money may not always be fully used for the purpose of the cause displayed to the public. I think these foundations need to make it more clear of the percentage that will be contributed when asking for monetary help.
