Hip Hop has come and is struggling to stay. Trap and ratchet music has taken over the air waves and it seems like music labels are only interested in degrading trash music. While real hip hop fans wait for a comeback we are constantly reminded that there is a slim chance of that happening. My question is why aren't we doing anything about it. Some say we are fighting back. It's no doubt that these new artist struggle to sell out big stadiums and are barley reaching platinum status. Hence nobody is buying their records, not even their peers. Should hip hop still be called hip hop or is it time to rap it up?
