Today, was the day that Philadelphia welcomed new Mayor elect Cherelle Parker as their new mayor. Parker is now the first black woman to ever hold the position as City Mayor. Now the question is will she make good on her promises. Philly is in desperate need of change and many are in hopes that she will make a difference. Well she has 4 years to get the job done to make the city safer, cleaner and greener as she previously vowed to do before winning the election.
